Bonzy Boards is a one man operation, with every board hand-made by myself, Bill Bonzulak. I grew up surfing and skating in Bay Head, NJ, where I also found my interest in wood. My chore as a kid was to split the firewood that would heat my family’s home. I noticed early on how each tree had its own unique color and grain, sparking a lifetime love for wood.

In 2007, we acquired Windy Ridge Farm, in Blairstown, NJ. This farm is a special place that has connected my family and I with nature and each other. Once on a walk in our woods, I noticed how quickly fallen trees accumulate over time. Originally harvesting them for firewood, they quickly evolved into countertops, longboards, benches, cutting boards, and much more!

From dragging the fallen trees out of the woods, to drying them, to milling them, to sculpting, sanding, and staining them, the Bonzy Boards process is a labor of love.
